The Division of Retirement and Benefit's (DRB) is seeking a unique individual with a high-energy level and drive for excellence and a desire to share and collaborate with other IT staff on their technical knowledge to fill our Analyst/Programmer V position.

The applicant will lead a team that is responsible for full life cycle application development in JAVA technologies and in the maintenance of older applications. The applicant must have first hand experience performing software development and in database design/programming. The applicant must also be able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and quickly learn new software, as well as multi-task.

The applicant will be required to execute complex programming tasks as well as mentor others to perform programming tasks in major systems. An individual in this job class must also have the ability to define user requirements; design and write system specifications and programs; work with staff to provide technical reports; manage application development projects; define and meet project deadlines.
